Castlemartyr has a wonderful area that needs to be explored. Not only because it is a historical area, but it’s another multi-access site to a forest recreation area (more information about: http://www.coillte.ie/site/castlemartyr/). The forest is only divided by the Castlemartyr Resort.
Rostellan Co. Cork
A few days earlier when the days were still sunny and warm, I was in Rostellan. Absolutely worth as you have here plenty of possibilities to find your personal walk. After storm Ophelia, we tend to stay more inside. But to get a relief from daily stress, I want you to introduce with a very short loop walk. It’s most suitable for everyone all year round. If you don’t have much time, it’s too cold to stay out longer or you want your kids to work out a bit.
