The first weekend in January 2018 was freezing cold. But it was so sunny and that’s why I decided to walk in one of my favorite areas.
Castlemartyr – Relaxing while walking
A Christmas special for you!
Castlemartyr has a wonderful area that needs to be explored. Not only because it is a historical area, but it’s another multi-access site to a forest recreation area (more information about: http://www.coillte.ie/site/castlemartyr/). The forest is only divided by the Castlemartyr Resort.
Rostellan Co. Cork
A few days earlier when the days were still sunny and warm, I was in Rostellan. Absolutely worth as you have here plenty of possibilities to find your personal walk. You can spend hours at this place if you want. This blog entry will be continued as it was not the last time, I was here. More pictures and a few more details will follow.
Fota Wildlife Park, Fota Arboretum and Gardens, Co. Cork
To make it for all a bit easier to use the bank holiday weekend, I want to recommend today 2 possibilities to enjoy the days outside.
Clashavodig, Little Island, Co. Cork
After storm Ophelia, we tend to stay more inside. But to get a relief from daily stress, I want you to introduce with a very short loop walk. It’s most suitable for everyone all year round. If you don’t have much time, it’s too cold to stay out longer or you want your kids to work out a bit.
Marlogue, Co. Cork
